The Tampa Bay Lightning is excited to welcome back our Youth Ball Hockey league at the Lightning Made Training Center for a Fall season!
Lightning Made Training Center is located at 6910 Asphalt Ave. Unit B Tampa, FL 33614.
The league runs for 9 weeks and starts on Sunday, September 8th. This program is for children of all skill levels, ages 5-18 years old. The league is divided into 7 and under (5-7 year old's), 10 and under, 13 and under and our new 17U Division (14 - 17 year old's)! If you feel your child is advanced for their age group you can sign-up for the division above.

Divisions/Times:
- 7U (5-7 years old) - 8:30-9:30am
- 7U (5-7 years old) - 9:45-10:45am
- 10U division - 11:00am - 12:00pm
- 10U division - 12:15 - 1:15pm
- 13U division - 1:30 - 2:30pm
- 13U division - 2:45 - 3:45pm
- 13U division - 4:00 - 5:00pm
- 17U division - 5:15 - 6:15pm
- 17U division - 6:30 - 7:30pm
4 teams per division. Each division has two different game times. Teams will play at both times slots throughout the season to allow for all teams to play against each other.

During the season your child will learn the fundamentals of hockey, it's rules, and how to work as a team. Athletes in this program will participate in different drills that will enhance their skill level and ability.
Our main goals for our league is to give the kids a fun, safe environment to learn the game of hockey. We strive to increase players skill, increase their understanding of the game (positioning, rules, hockey I.Q.), and emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
The league format will be 25 minutes skills/drills and a 30 minute game.
Players will only need a stick to participate! If you do not have your own stick, you can purchase one for $15 or borrow a stick from the Training Center. No other equipment is necessary.
This season we will be looking for volunteer coaches to coach each team. If you are interested in this opportunity please select "Yes" you are interested in coaching when completing the registration. Also to become a coach this season we will require each volunteer coach to complete a USA Ball Hockey Coaches Certification. We refund you the cost of the league, if approved.
